Join us for an engaging and educational Guided Surface Tour at the Historic Kennedy Gold Mine!
Recommended for an in-depth experience, our tours are available at 10 AM, 12 PM, and 2 PM.
Off season, November – February, the mine is open 2nd Saturday of the month for public tours at 10 am, 12 pm and 2 pm. Private tours can be arranged for any time by contacting the Kennedy Mine. Private tours are $15 per person with a minimum of $100.
During the 90-minute tour, you’ll have the opportunity to explore the Change House Museum and Gift Shop, watch actual 1914 footage of the mine in operation, and experience our new Mine Tunnel. Visit the Steam Boiler Building, Head Frame/Shaft area, Stamp Mill Overlook, Underground Foreman’s Office, and take a fascinating inside tour of the 1907 Mine Office Museum, including the Paymaster’s office and the large walk-in safe where gold bars and important records were kept. Discover the Gold Retort Furnace and Assay Rooms, the Guest Bedrooms on the top floor, and many other Points of Interest.
Guided Tours are priced at Adults $15.00 and Kids (6-12) $7.00.
