The Kennedy Mine is a Great Event Venue
The historic Kennedy Gold Mine began January 4, 1860, when four prospectors filed four mining claims, each 120 feet long, in the vicinity of today’s Viewpoint along Highway 49/88 between Martell and Jackson, California. Over the next 90 + years, the mine grew, acquired more property, and became famous for being the deepest gold mine in North America. Today the mine preserves 154 acres of rolling woodlands, original buildings and structures including one of the tallest headframes in the Mother Lode! This historic backdrop is unique and ideal for your next event!

- Picnic Area with large wood picnic tables under a permanent wood awning
