Join us at the Kennedy Mine for the Premiere of the new movie, Ghosts of the Gold Rush. Meet the cast and crew of the movie after the premiere.
Prior to the show, explore the Change House and the mine property. Learn more about hard rock mining and the Kennedy Mine.
Food and beverages (including beer and wine) will be available for purchase during the event.
This is an outdoor event. Seating (chairs) on the lawn area will be provided. In case of inclement weather, the screening will be moved inside the Change House.
Itinerary
- Gates open at 4pm.
- 4pm to 6pm – Check in/Tours/Concessions
- 6pm – Film followed by Q & A with Cast & Crew
- 8-pm to 1am – VIP ticket holders will be able to enjoy a social hour with the cast and crew, followed by a paranormal investigation with them.
- As it is an outdoor event, plan on bringing a coat or blanket
General Admission – $40/each includes: self-guided tour of the property and movie premier followed by Q&A with cast and crew.
VIP Admission – $100/each includes: self-guided tour of the property, red carpet entrance and photos, reserved seating section, movie premiere followed by Q&A with cast and crew, social hour meet & greet with cast and crew, followed by a paranormal investigation with the cast and crew.
Paranormal Nights at Kennedy Gold Mine!
As featured on the Travel Channel, guided Paranormal tours are offered each month by a team of experienced paranormal investigators. Learn about the history of the Kennedy Mine while exploring buildings on the property, as well as the land, for possible paranormal activity. Space is limited to 18 persons per investigation, so reserve your place now!
Evening 7-hour Paranormal Nights Investigations: 7 pm to 1 am – $75 per person, $50 per person for Amador and Calaveras residents (ID required). Guests must be 18 years or older.
Tickets must be purchased in advance. Tickets are non-refundable but may be exchanged for another date.
A signed waiver must be filled out by each attendee in advance. At the Kennedy Mine, nights are cool, and a warm jacket is recommended.

Kennedy Mine Tours – 2026 Season
Guided and Self-guided tours are available on the 2nd Saturday of the month. Reservations are not required, but can be made at our Tour Booking page . Guided tours last approximately 90 minutes and include access to the Headframe, Mine Office Building, simulated tunnel, and video of the mine in operation in 1914. Adults – $15, Youth 5-12 $7.
Self-guided tours include a tour book describing various locations on the property, a video of the mine in operation in 1914, and access to the simulated tunnel. Adults $7, Youth $3.
Gold panning is available also.
