School Tours at the Kennedy Gold Mine
.
The Kennedy Mine is a non-profit, volunteer historical landmark, located
about an hour east of Stockton and Sacramento. The Kennedy Mine offers
one of the best school tours in the Mother Lode. Our volunteer staff
offers a historically accurate, educational and fun experience for
students of all ages and grades. Our tours are specifically aligned with
California State History Standards for grades four and five, but the
tours are suitable for all grades and ages, including youth groups,
special needs, high school, home school, and college students.
We Provide the Entire Program:
The Kennedy's volunteers provide the entire program, so teachers can
relax and have fun with their students. No special preparation is
required to enjoy the tour. Just show up, and we handle the experience.

own sample as a souvenir.
